The summer heat is done for another year and it’s time to go outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather! This is also the time of year that the Mesa and the East Valley has several events and festivities taking place to celebrate. It’s also harvest season at the Queen Creek Olive Mill, and the annual Olivepalooza Grub in the Grove is set again for early October. Here’s some more info on the event.
food truck olivepaloozaSince 1998, the Queen Creek Olive Mill has supplied the Valley of the Sun with fresh, local extra virgin olive oil. The farm came into existence when 1,000 olive trees were planted on 100 acres of land in Queen Creek. The 2-day annual event takes place on October 10th and 11th this year, and brings food trucks, music, tours and several family games to the Grove for a beautiful weekend at the beginning of the farm’s harvest season.
Food trucks will be on site to provide the grub. Here are the trucks you’ll find during the event from 11am to 3 pm.
